OPP plea deal drops murder charges against arson sex-worker, as lives of Abbey Forrestt, daughter Ivy have to meaning

In 2020, Emilie Forrestt was a proud aunt. Now she’s a grieving one. Her sister Abbey, partner Inderpal and six week old daughter Ivy, were burned to death in a house fire caused by sex-worker Jenny Hayes. For Victoria’s Office of Public Prosecutions, the lives of Abbey, Inderpal and Ivy mean little. The three counts of murder and arson police charged Hayes with, saw the OPP drop the murder charges for a plea deal to three counts of arson causing death. The OPP are also denying the Forrestt’s legal representation. You can bet Jenny Hayes will have a lawyer present though.
