Immigration fraud rampant as Home Affairs refuses to act

Only six months into her role as Minister for Border Force and Home Affairs, Claire O’Neill, has proven no better than Peter Dutton.  O’Neill already seems to be failing Australians, and Australia’s immigration system is in need of a serious overhaul. This year, TheInformer broke the story where in 2008-09 a NSW ‘s woman allegedly held another woman hostage in Vanuatu until the kidnapped, agreed to say they were in a relationship. The scam worked and the woman is now a permanent resident in Australia, and even though the federal government and Border Force aware of the case, it refuses to act. The story highlights how broken the system is, and that was further reinforced by an Age, Sydney Morning Herald, 60 Minutes investigation into human trafficking and abuse.
