Health insurance premiums on the rise again

Health insurance premiums are set to rise by more than $50 for Australians families in 2022 – an increase of 2.70%. But an analysis of Compare Club’s customers suggests that number is closer to $154 for a family with both parents in their 40s than the $125 suggested by the federal government – and as much as $174 for Australians over 60 – almost four times the current inflation rate of 0.8%.
