Growing up in Victoria’s regional city of Warrnambool, Megan Lane, recently purchased a property in Simpson, 30 years after living and working in Melbourne as a journalist and advisor to some of Australia’s largest companies. Now she’s running as an Independent for the Upper House, come the November 26, Victorian state election, and fighting corruption will be just one issue Lane will be pursuing for the residents of Western Victoria.
