Come May, Australians will go to the polls and this week’s Budget was a Budget of desperation. It’s an indication of just how tight the election will be, and how worried the Government is of losing office. It’s a win at all costs Budget, and the Government has shown its pulling out all stops to sandbag a sliding shift. Has it done enough to secure the votes of Australians, or is it a case of too little too late?
