John Herron has a right to be angry. Three years ago, his daughter Courtney, was brutally bashed and murdered by Henry Hammond. Since that fateful day, Herron has had to endure the heartache and pain of the tragic loss of Courtney. Hammond however, is about to be allowed to roam amongst the public and enjoy planned day releases after only serving little more than a year of what should be a 25-year sentence. It seems the Department of Justice and doctors at Thomas Embling Psychiatric Hospital have little regard for the memory of Courtney or the lives of Victorians – as they prepare to set a killer loose.
